My Thirty Day Challenge Day One
The Thirty-Day Challenge Day One!
First of all if you want to know a little about me and how I ended up participating in the challenge just visit the “About The Challenge” link at the top of the page.
Lets get started. Here are the results of the first day.
After I landed on the site from a link & watching the video I ended up signing up.
I’ve always like using free resources and got started that way. I’m always recommending and giving links to people who are just starting out and have little to no budget so the idea of making $10 in 30 days using nothing but free resources and without spending a dime really appeals to me.
The 15k in 30 Days challenge that Dan Raine took was amazing. With a budget of only $150 and not using any of his resources, hosting list etc he tried to make 15k in 30 days.
Well he failed… by about $300. He used myspace, yahoo groups and a resell rights item in a non IM niche to start a membership site. Of course he is a talented marketer but that was still quite an accomplishment. Guess he had to wear those red thongs into the bar, having lost the bet.
Back to the first day. I received a welcome email saying the start of the challenge would be August 1st.
A little later I got an email from Dan Raine letting everyone know the forum and dash board were open. A few post were up.
The first one was a video post about day one of pre-season explaining things. It had 182 replies.
The next post was another video post talking about working in teams of 3 to 7 using Skype and signing up for Digg and Stumble upon. You would be shown how to use Skype to communicate. This post was a Day #2 post.
The last post today announced the opening of the dashboard (a central page with links to the blog, training and the forum). You were urged to get over to the forum and start team building.
